DESCRIPTION:\n \nThe City of Huxley, in partnership with the Ames Regional Economic Alliance and the Huxley Development Corporation, as well as local businesses, invites families to the first-ever Huxley Hop & Shop on Saturday, March 28, from 8:00am-12:00pm at the Nord Kalsem Park Community Center.\nThis spring event builds on a community tradition – featuring live bunnies, photo opportunities, and egg scavenger hunts – while introducing an exciting new element. The first 50 families to attend will receive a special bag filled with activities and coupons from local Huxley businesses, encouraging families to hop around town and support local throughout the spring season.\nOne lucky participant will discover a golden egg in their bag and win an Easter basket filled with gift certificates from local businesses!\nParticipants must register through the City of Huxley in advance to select a time slot for the event. Please join us for a lively morning of spring fun, local surprises, and plenty of reasons to hop around Huxley.\nBusiness Participation: Huxley businesses interested in contributing an activity, coupon, or gift card for the Hop & Shop bags are encouraged to participate.
