DESCRIPTION:Celebrate World Collage Day with a hands‑on collage workshop on Sat., May 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ames Public Library’s Farwell T. Brown Auditorium (515 Douglas Ave., Ames, IA).\nThis free event is designed for ages 14 and up, and advance registration is required. Artists Bob Anders, Deb Anders‑Bond, Kathy Svec, and Susan Norris will be on hand to offer guidance. No experience is necessary—just come ready to experiment and create.\nParticipants should bring a sack lunch and a good pair of scissors. Water, coffee, and snacks will be available. Parking is available on the street or in the city lot north of the library.\nThis event is sponsored by the Ames Community Arts Council, Ames Public Library, and local ACAC artist members.
