SUMMARY:2024 Ada Hayden Golf Car Tours
DESCRIPTION: \nFriends of Ada Hayden Heritage Park are sponsoring golf car tours for mobility challenged adults on September 9th & 10th.   The tours will highlight the origins of the lake, the current vegetation, uses of the Park and the threats to the water quality in the lake.  The tours will be offered each day at no cost but require a reservation.\nWe will use 6 -five passenger carts on each 90-minute tour, guided by a volunteer to interpret and answer questions.   All tours will begin at the shelter house/parking area on the northeast end of the lake (5205 Grand).   Arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour time-of-departure.   Participants should dress for the weather conditions.   I will contact you if we have any delays or changes.\n \nThe tour schedule will be:\nMonday (9th)\n9:30\n \n11:30\n \n1:30\n \n3:30\n \n \nTuesday (10th)\n                9:30\n \n11:30\n \n1:30\nIn 2023 we accommodated nearly 100 residents.   Reservations for groups and individuals will be on a first-come basis, so don’t delay.    Please include your contact information.\nFor reservations, cancellations and answers to questions, call or text:\nJim Patton at 712-830-3736.\n \n
