DESCRIPTION:\nThe AREA Intern Program is a summer series designed to help interns and college students connect with local business leaders while exploring the opportunities the Ames region has to offer. By immersing interns and college students in a variety of professional development experiences, we hope to inspire them to consider staying in the AREA as they begin their careers. Thanks to our Workforce Sponsors, events are free to attend, but registration is required. This program was previously known as “See Yourself In Ames.”\nThe program will end with Graduation Day on National Intern Day, a celebratory event that marks the successful completion of the AREA Intern Program. Interns will receive a professional headshot from KandE Productions.
