Public Policy.

The Ames Regional Economic Alliance Public Policy Program educates and engages members on key federal, state, and local political issues and initiatives. In all advocacy efforts, the Alliance remains nonpartisan and does not endorse candidates or support political action committees. Maintaining strong relationships with all federal, state, and local elected officials is a key tenet of the Ames Regional Economic Alliance, and a service we are proud to provide to our entire membership.

Public Policy Events.

The Ames Regional Economic Alliance provides a number of public policy related events throughout the year to support local, state, and federal initiatives. The season kicks off in January with our annual Legislative Kick Off Breakfast. Throughout the state session, we continue to host social and panel discussion opportunities for members to meet with state legislators.
