Join us for the 2025 Building Community Breakfast!
As we work to make Ames and Story County a more inviting place to live, work and do business, it is critical that we assemble programs like this to empower our members and the greater community. Local leaders who impact hiring, decision-making, organizational culture and environment are encouraged to attend this breakfast.
Our featured keynote speaker is Dariana Glasco-Boyd, co-founder of M&D Best. Dariana will discuss The Hidden Influences That Shape Our Choices: Shifting perspectives and strengthening practices that help us move from awareness to action

About the speaker:
Dariana Glasco-Boyd is the co-founder and Director of Learning and Development at M&D BEST, a consultancy dedicated to delivering tailored professional development solutions. Her work spans leadership and management training, programs that foster compassionate leadership and equitable workplaces, and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and mental wellness programs.
She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Iowa State University—go Cyclones! Dariana brings a passion for empowering individuals and organizations to build stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities.
