The Ames Regional Economic Alliance Welcomes Elizabeth Ross as Economic Development Coordinator

Elizabeth Ross, Economic Development Coordinator

The Ames Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission is excited to welcome Elizabeth Ross to the team as Economic Development Coordinator.

“Elizabeth will be a great addition to our team,” said Dan Culhane, President & CEO of the Ames Chamber of Commerce. “Elizabeth’s skillset fits our team perfectly, and she will help ensure that our projects continue to be positive and efficient as we collaborate with our members, investors, and the community.”

As the Economic Development Coordinator, Ross will play an integral role in economic development projects, supporting information and resources related the business and community development program of work, and be responsible for ensuring resource coordination and support to all team members.

​Prior to joining the Ames Chamber of Commerce, Ross recently graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Communication Studies and Leadership & Management of Nonprofit Organizations. While attending SDSU, Ross was involved in numerous student organizations and worked for/volunteered at several nonprofits in the community. These organizations include the Ty Eschenbaum Foundation, Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce, Make-A-Wish South Dakota and Montana, and Advance (an organization that provides living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities).

“I am thrilled to join the Ames Chamber of Commerce as the Economic Development Coordinator,” said Ross. “My goal is to help streamline operations and facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring that our projects run smoothly and efficiently. I look forward to collaborating with the talented professionals at the Ames Chamber of Commerce to foster growth and innovation in the Ames community.”
