Family Farm Festival with Author Jill Esbaum

Celebrate all things farming with fun activities and a visit from Great Reads from Great Places author Jill Esbaum.

Join us outside Ames Public Library where families can get up close with some big tractors and farm machinery, pet farm animals at a petting zoo, and visit with local Co-ops and CSAs, and more about their organizations.

Author Talk at 11am
Head inside the Library at 11am to hear from author Jill Esbaum about the inspiration behind her book, “It’s Corn Picking Time!” The first 50 participants at the author talk will receive a free copy of the book.
