The Archivist and the Researcher: Perspectives on Political Papers in Archives
Special Collections and University Archives is hosting a panel of experts to discuss working with political papers from the perspective of archivists and researchers and provide context to why political papers are important to retain. The panel will engage in a conversation on the significance of political papers in archives, touching on topics such as the background of the Edward M. Mezvinsky papers coming to ISU; aspects that make political papers different from other personal papers when working with the donors, processing, and providing access to papers; working with political papers as a researcher and instructor; and political papers documenting both local and national contexts.
