The end of another year is now here, and I can tell you that 2024 has been nothing short of transformative. As we look back on the past twelve months, it’s clear that this year has been filled with opportunities and milestones that have shaped our organization and the communities we serve.
From fostering economic development to strengthening partnerships, 2024 has seen remarkable achievements that reflect the hard work, vision, and dedication of our team, stakeholders, and partners. From rebranding to the Ames Regional Economic Alliance to adding Hamilton County, each initiative and accomplishment has brought us closer to fulfilling our mission and building a brighter future for everyone. We saw Daisy Brand pledge to invest in an incredible facility in Boone and the Discovery Channel visit our region.
Of course, a single blog post cannot capture everything we’ve accomplished this year. That’s why, in early 2025, we will release our Annual Report—a recap of the year that was. This year’s report may be bigger and better than ever, filled with notes, data, and highlights that showcase our impact. I’m hearing word that we may need to expand this year’s edition to accommodate all of what happened!
From community events to innovative programs, groundbreaking projects, and new partnerships, 2024 has set a high bar for what’s possible. As we wrap up this year and look ahead to the next, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has played a role in our success. Whether you are a member, investor, collaborator, or simply someone cheering us on from the sidelines, your contributions have made this year memorable and meaningful.
