Join us for the 2025 Huxley Business Breakfast!

Emily Nelson, IJAG Program Supervisor of Central & West Central Iowa, and Jim McPartland, IJAG High School Specialist for grades 9–12, will share how Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates empowers youth to develop leadership skills, career readiness, and resilience, helping them overcome barriers and prepare for a successful future. The discussion will also highlight ways local businesses can partner with IJAG to provide meaningful support and opportunities for the next generation of leaders.

About the Presenters

Emily Nelson – IJAG Program Supervisor, Central & West Central Iowa

Emily leads iJAG programs in Central and West Central Iowa. She previously served as the iJAG Education Specialist at Boone High School for 3 years.

Jim McPartland – IJAG High School Specialist, Grades 9–12

Jim spent 34 years teaching and coaching high school students, with the last 27 in Boone, where he currently lives with his wife Heidi, also a retired teacher.
