The achievement is the result of a collaborative effort between the City of Webster City, Ames Regional Economic Alliance, Hamilton County Growth Partnership, and the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
The 478-acre, rail-served industrial park is strategically located adjacent to Iowa Highways 17 and 20, minutes from Interstate 35. The site has undergone extensive evaluation and preparation to ensure it is ready for future development opportunities. The certification, completed on April 9, 2026, through the Iowa Economic Development Authority’s Certified Site Program, confirms that the property meets rigorous standards for infrastructure, availability, and development readiness.
Site certification is a comprehensive process that verifies key development factors such as land ownership, utility access, transportation infrastructure, and environmental considerations. By eliminating many of the unknowns that can delay projects, certified sites provide businesses with greater confidence and speed-to-market, two critical factors in today’s competitive economic landscape.
