Ames Regional Economic Alliance Welcomes Taylor Nokes as Executive Director of Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce

The Ames Regional Economic Alliance is excited to welcome Taylor Nokes as the new Executive Director of the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce.

“Taylor brings a strong combination of business experience, relationship-building skills and a problem-solving mindset that will serve the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce well,” said Dan Culhane, President and CEO of the Ames Regional Economic Alliance. “Her professional experience and personal connection to the Webster City community make her a great fit to lead the Chamber and support local businesses. We are thrilled to have her as part of the team.”

As Executive Director, Nokes will lead the day-to-day operations of the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce while working closely with Chamber members, businesses, community leaders, and regional partners. She will be responsible for strengthening relationships with local businesses, supporting Chamber programs and initiatives, and helping advance opportunities that contribute to the growth and success of Webster City and Hamilton County. Through the strategic partnership with the Ames Regional Economic Alliance, Nokes will also have access to additional resources and regional connections to support the Chamber and its members.

Nokes brings experience in claims, risk management, safety and operations, along with a strong focus on problem solving, process improvement, risk mitigation and relationship management. Most recently, she worked at Go2 Logistics as a Claims Analyst, following previous experience with Cottingham & Butler in a similar role.

Nokes earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Iowa State University’s Ivy College of Business in 2020. She is currently a resident of Webster City, where she lives with her husband and their two sons.

“I am excited about the opportunity to serve as the Executive Director for the Webster City Chamber of Commerce, as I am passionate about the success of our community and the people who make it such a great place to live and work,” said Nokes. “I am looking forward to building strong relationships, supporting local businesses, and contributing to help make Webster City grow and thrive!”
