2025 Witches Walk
Come out for a scary good time on Thursday, October 9! Downtown businesses will be open late and hosting snacks and sips between 6:00 – 8:00pm.
This event is geared towards adults, but all are welcome and costumes are encouraged. If you are looking for a trick or treating opportunity for kids, join us for Downtown Trick or Treat on October 30!
Witches Walk will also feature a Costume Contest! Winners will be decided at 7:00pm by who can get the loudest cheer from the crowd!

Activities
FREE Giveaway – The first 300 Witches Walk attendees can pick up a free wine tumbler at Tom Evans Park located at 340 Main St. while supplies last. These will run out early!
Photo Stations – Grab a photo with your coven to remember this fun night out. Several can be found on the handout you’ll receive at Witches Walk!
Witches Bingo – (Pickup Bingo Sheet at Witches Walk) – Complete any 5 activities in a row to form a “BINGO” to be entered to win a gift basket with Downtown Ames Businesses.
Costume contest – Do you have the witchiest or spookiest costume? Join us at 6:45pm for our costume contest! Winners will be decided at 7:00pm by who can get the loudest cheer from the crowd!
