Ames Regional Economic Alliance Welcomes Kalyn Klonglan as the new Community and Member Services Coordinator for the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce

The Ames Regional Economic Alliance is pleased to welcome Kalyn Klonglan as the new Community and Member Services Coordinator for the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce.

“We are excited to welcome Kalyn aboard and tap into her knowledge and experience as we continue to build a stronger, more connected Chamber,” said Taylor Nokes, Executive Director of the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce. “Her perspective and expertise will help us to better serve our members and our community.”

In her role as Community and Member Services Coordinator, Klonglan will support the day-to-day operations of the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce while serving as a welcoming point of contact for Chamber members, visitors, and community partners. Her responsibilities will include managing office administration and membership records, providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Chamber Board, supporting Chamber events, and helping address member needs and concerns. She will also help represent the Chamber and support its efforts to connect with and serve the Webster City business community.

Klonglan brings experience in administrative support, registration services, human services, and working directly with individuals and families. Prior to joining the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, she worked at Ames Surgery Center, where she provided registration and administrative support. She also previously worked with Boys Town as a consultant supporting juveniles on probation and their families.

Klonglan graduated from Des Moines Area Community College with a degree in Human Services. Her background has given her a passion for working with people, building relationships, and helping others feel connected and supported.

“I am excited to join the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce as the Community and Member Services Coordinator because I am passionate about building relationships, supporting others, and being part of a community that continues to grow and thrive,” said Klonglan. “With my background in Human Services and experience working with people and providing administrative support, I look forward to connecting with Chamber members, supporting local businesses, and contributing to the success of the Webster City community!”

Outside of the office, Klonglan enjoys spending time with her family, making memories with her two children, and cheering for the Iowa State Cyclones. She is excited to be part of the Webster City community and looks forward to meeting and working with Chamber members throughout the area.

Klonglan began her role on September 29 and can be reached at kalyn@visitwebstercityiowa.com.
