Members of the Colo City Council and Story County Supervisors Tour Spec Home

Members of the Colo City Council and the Story County Supervisors recently toured a completed speculative home in the new community. The council has worked for several years to support new housing opportunities in their community. Earlier this year they partnered with Keystone Equity Group providing them with infill lots to construct two speculative homes.

One home has already sold, and the second home is on the market for $290,000. The 1,358 square foot home boosts a double garage, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The basement is unfinished with plumbing stubbed in for a 3 bathroom. J.D. Albright with Keystone Equity explains, we appreciate our partnership with the City of Colo. The city staff have been very helpful, and we are glad to be a part of their community.”

The Story County Supervisors support Colo in their economic development efforts. “What a beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood. The finishes throughout certainly exceeded my expectations.” states Supervisor Linda Murken after the tour.

Keystone Equity and their construction partners have been in the residential construction business for more than 30 years. Keystone Equity and the City of Colo plan to partner again as they launch the new Lounsberry Addition subdivision with site and infrastructure work starting this Fall. This subdivision will feature 15 lots of varying sizes.
