Enrollment is now open for Everbrook Academy, a new childcare and early learning education center located at 2310 E. 13th St. on the Danfoss Power Solutions Ames campus.
Everbrook Academy is a 16,000-square-foot facility designed to provide convenient access to exceptional childcare for working families. This new school will offer early childhood education, before- and after-school care, and summer programming for children from six weeks of age to 12 years. It will have capacity for 164 children, helping to expand childcare capacity in Ames and support the region’s workforce needs. Everbrook Academy will be open to the community and offers a discount for essential workers (teachers, active military personnel, police, health care, and first responders).
This project was announced in 2025 as a partnership between Danfoss and the State of Iowa through the Child Care Business Incentive Grant Program. With a total investment of approximately $6 million, the project provides a twofold benefit to the region. It not only increases high-quality childcare options for working families but also strengthens the local workforce, making Ames and the surrounding communities an even more attractive place to live and work.
