Leadership Ames is a program of the Ames Chamber of Commerce that offers the opportunity for participants to gain experience in civic leadership responsibilities and cultivate relationships with other local leaders and community members.

Tri-Chairs for Leadership Ames Class XXXVII are Abbie Schaffer with US Bank, Sarina Flathers with YSS, and Jessica Krupicka. Participants in this year’s class will experience twelve day-long sessions designed to develop informed, involved and concerned leaders.

“Leadership Ames is a flagship tradition of ours, and it’s our pleasure to introduce, engage, and share business and industry experiences to this year’s class,” says Jan Williams, Vice President at the Ames Chamber of Commerce. “Connecting people to business is an ongoing priority throughout the Ames MSA and we look forward to another exciting year ahead. The class allows for personal and professional growth, but also highlights business tours and creates new and lasting relationships, while cultivating future leaders in our community.”

Classmates will hear presentations on important topics, debate issues, participate in class activities, visit with area leaders, tour facilities and get to know other individuals representing a broad cross-section of the community. Session begins January 11, 2024.
