As a consultant and fractional COO, Amy brings 20 years of experience as an attorney, entrepreneur, and C-suite leader to help small and mid-size business owners scale and grow.
Amy began her legal career as an intern at the Iowa Attorney General’s Office, transitioning to private practice as a consumer protection attorney. Over the next decade, Amy practiced law across a wide variety of fields, including FDCP/FCRA consumer protection, securities, privacy, fraud and AML corporate compliance, and immigration advocacy. As her appetite for learning grew, Amy’s professional vistas widened.
She is also co-founder and former CEO of Des Moines’ first industrial services start-up, and her most recent tenure in non-profit leadership culminated in the completion of a $25 million capital campaign. In the for-profit arena, her ability to build and execute strategic, operational infrastructure, including custom CRMs, has helped clients launch themselves into their next phase of growth. Her expertise is in building healthy, productive teams, operating at top efficiency with the right infrastructure to ensure they deliver excellent results.
